The Family & Learning Center provides one-on-one Educational Coaching to students age five through adult. We specialize in providing remediation and study/learning skills development to support students with learning and attention challenges, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, ADHD, visual-spatial processing disorder, nonverbal learning disabilities, and executive function deficits. Each student’s individualized program is designed by the Director and then implemented by our specially trained Educational Coaches. Following the principles of the evidence-based methodologies, Educational Coaches use their own background knowledge, experience, creativity, and flexibility in each session. Through this approach, Educational Coaching goes beyond tutoring to focus on remediation in areas of weakness, building learning skills, and teaching the student how to learn.

The Family & Learning Center provides a fun and supportive work environment. The office is ideally located in La Jolla, steps from restaurants, shopping, and the beach. This is an excellent position for individuals passionate about education, psychology, and the learning process who are looking for an alternative to classroom teaching. You’ll have your own personal office space at the learning center; students come to you. All necessary materials are provided, and training and preparation time is paid.
